Fencing Contractors Association

The Fencing Contractors Association new team started work on 1 March 2016 to help develop the organisation and its services to members. FCA has a proud history of representing the sector and a strong membership base. The team of Rob Oliver, Robert Osborne and Kim Fitzpatrick have many years’ experience of working for trade associations, mostly in the construction sector, including the Perimeter Security Suppliers Association (PSSA) which has some overlap with FCA.

A recent survey of FCA members identified the importance of making sure that issues which affect the sector are communicated rapidly and regularly; and that there should be more promotion of the industry and particularly the professional standards and training which lie behind FCA membership. Robert Osborne, operations manager, said “Associations work best when they are engaged with their members and involve people from all levels within member companies. This ensures Associations can identify the issues that matter and can provide the leadership and services that the membership values. We look forward to working with FCA and helping to provide the support that the industry requires”.

About the FCA

The Fencing Contractors Association (FCA) is a trade association set up in 1942 to facilitate the procurement of timber and other fencing materials to support the war effort. Since that time it has expanded its membership to include fencing contractors, material/product manufacturers and suppliers.
