Rob Oliver
Rob is owner and Managing Director of ASL – and has served as
a director of several of our client associations. He has close
to 25 years experience of working in trade and professional organizations,
“from the mail room to the Board room!”. He also has a background
in accounting and politics and claims that an understanding of
both set him up well for a career in association management.

Elaine Cole
Elaine combines the positions of company secretary, office manager
and client lead. Her knowledge of company law and secretarial
matters makes her a sound mentor on “not-for-profit” start ups. She
also had a close involvement with some of our market survey programmes
– something appropriate for someone who once worked for the Bank
of England.

Tim Faithfull
Tim is client lead for a number of UK and European trade groups
– as well as co-ordinating technical services for our largest
client. He has extensive contacts within the UK and European Union
officialdom, so much so that Brussels now seems like a second
home to him. He is certainly used to travel as a former executive
with British Airways.

Pam Hyde
Pam is a qualified Chartered Secretary with over 20 years experience
in trade associations. Her work has varied from drafting bye-laws
and procedures manuals to offering expertise on international
trade matters. She has been particularly successful in fostering
international co-operation in the exchange of market information.
Pam has recently added Spanish to her linguistic repertoire.

Joanna Oliver
Joanna is a specialist in organising official groups at overseas
exhibitions, trade missions, seminars etc. She sits on a number
of official government bodies concerned with international trade
and runs the ASL exhibitions training course. A regular visitor
to China and India, Joanna has visited 63 different countries,
and counting! She is a former agent to a Speaker of the House
of Commons.
